Our #colouroftheweek is hibiscus. A soft pink-hued red currently in-store, starting a cycle of non-classic reds we see evolving for A/W 13/14 and into S/S 14. Great for adding a colour injection to footwear and accessories. Match back to Pantone 18-1762 TCX to confirm WGSN’s S/S 13 Global Colour Direction.

Great Crested Grebe (Podiceps cristatus)

…is a species of grebe found throughout England, Europe, Asia, Australia and parts of Africa. Like all grebes this species is a great swimmer and dives for meals of invertebrates and fish. The most spectacular feature of this bird is its elaborate mating ritual in which the two birds extend their ‘great’ crests and approach each-other with weed in their bills, the two birds will then rise out of the water turn their heads from side to side.
